Delete your Zap account
For the Zap app by The Zap Company.
In the Zap app
Go to Account → Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm.
This cancels your upcoming Zaps and repeat Zaps, ends any pass, and signs you out everywhere. Your account is deactivated straight away and permanently deleted after 90 days — sign in any time before then and we'll restore it.
A Zap Kid or managed account is removed by the guardian or organization that set it up.
What we delete, and what we keep
After 90 days we delete your profile, photo, saved addresses, payment method on file, emergency contacts, schedules, connections and messages. Trip history, receipts and store order records are kept as business and tax records for as long as the law requires, and records needed for safety, fraud prevention or a legal hold are kept only as long as those require. Ask us here. We'll email the address on your account to confirm before we delete anything. You can also email thezapcompany@zapapp.app.
